464 Malaysian Athletes to Race for Exclusive Award & Bragging Rights

Race week is here and as athletes from around the world descend onto Putrajaya for the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya on Sunday, IRONMAN Malaysia have announced that there will be an additional award to race for among the local triathlon community here.

The first Malaysian male and female to cross the line on Sunday will be crowned Best Malaysian Male and Best Malaysian Female of IRONMAN Putrajaya 70.3, 2014.

The special award which has been created to recognise the achievement of the two best local up and coming athletes and will be presented at the awards presentation at the Auditorium Cempaka, Sari (lobby level) during the athlete award presentation from 4:15pm to 5pm.

M-Dot Training Goodie Bag
In addition to the award each athlete will receive a M-Dot backpack full of IRONMAN goodies and products from our sponsors, Brooks running shoes, PowerBar and ROCKTAPE to keep them energised, motivated and comfortable throughout their training.

Presentation by Craig Alexander
Three time World IRONMAN Champion and two time World IRONMAN 70.3 Champion, Craig Alexander will present the M-Dot Training Goodie Bag to the two lucky recipients and in addition present each with a personally signed copy of his biography, As The Crow Flies: My Journey To Ironman World Champion.

IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya has 30 qualifying slots to to the 2014 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Mont-Tremblant, Québec, Canada.
