Week 4 IMMY Training

Week 4 IMMY Training. 207km in 6hours 45min. Week 5 will see incorporation of a mandatory "rest day" as not to burn out from the continous training. Having said that, the intensity and distance will continue.
Yesterday was the last day for the Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya super early rates of USD199. If you had missed it, the price is now USD250. If you have intention to race, best to start training now and consider to sign up before the end of the early bird. I will provide a course review soon.
Meanwhile, keep training!
Expenditure
Apart from keeping tab of the mileage and hours spent training, what may make sense and could be useful at the end of next year's race would be a full consolidation of the amount of expenditure it will cost for someone that want to consider joining and completing an Ironman race. I may consider to share this on soon. Needless to say, the entry fee at this point were the main expenditure, apart from the lodging and air-flights for the family. But it is all good. Afterall, I do not take holiday and this is to the family (i know it's not fair) a holiday. Only differences is "Papa brought along his swim, bike and run gears along so he can race a triathlon called Ironman".

Interview with Geoff Meyer and Craig Alexander on BFM
If you missed the interview last Friday, you can download or listen to the podcast here.
The sports is gaining popularity and it good for the community and country. Having Craig Alexander (or otherwise known as Crowie to the community) is a testament that endurance sports demonstrated that older folks, usually doubted as "past their prime" can and will still do well in the sports. How old is Crowie? He is 40 this year and will make any man half his age shy when it comes to the sports.
Until Week 5, keep swimming, biking and running - above all, stay away from injury and in the words of Lyn Kong, Move Well, Eat Well, Live Well!
