The Renault-Nissan Alliance Model Lineup

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 9 May, 2013 – TC Euro Cars Sdn Bhd showcased its Renault-Nissan Alliance model line-up in conjunction with the company's first roadshow for 2013 held in Bangsar Shopping Complex last Saturday. 
The line-up included the new Renault Clio RS 200 EDC (first Asian debut), the new Renault Megane RS 265 Trophy Edition (See below for the addtional press release) and the updated Renault Koleos SUV. 

Also on display was the complete range of Nissan's CBU models, which included the Murano 3.5 and the Elgrand 3.5. 
The Renault-Nissan Alliance was also proud to present its zero emission models, the Nissan LEAF and the Renault Fluence EV, both running purely on electricity.

The LEAF and the Fluence ZE are part of the awareness campaign that Renault-Nissan Alliance is doing to educate Malaysians about electric mobility.

Visitors were given the chance to test-drive all the vehicles during the four-day roadshow. 

Apart from test drive sessions, TC Euro Cars also had a special offer package for the Koleos SUV. The offer saw the Koleos sold at a special price of RM198,000 (on-the-road price excluding insurance).  

This offer is still valid until 30 June 2013.

In conjunction with the roadshow, TC Euro Cars had organised the largest gathering of Renault RS cars at the location. More than 28 RS owners and their cars turned up to share the excitement with the public. Among the RS models that participated were the Megane RS, Clio RS and Megane R26

franchise holder for Renault cars in Malaysia is proud to introduce a new addition to the Renault line-up – the
Renault Mégane RS 265 Trophy Edition.

History was rewritten on the 17th of June 2011, on the legendary Nürburgring circuit, more specifically the
Nordschleife (northern loop). Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy set a new lap record in the front-wheel drive
category, where cars must conform strictly to production specifications. By setting a lap time of 8' 08",
Mégane R.S. Trophy beat the record held since 2008 by Mégane R26.R, which was 8' 17".

The Renault Mégane RS 265 Trophy Edition is a tribute to this achievement.

Powering the Mégane RS 265 Trophy Edition is the same 2.0 liter turbocharged engine found in its world
record holder sibling. 265 hp and 360 Nm of torque is efficiently channeled to the wheels through a 6 speed
manual transmission. Zero – 100kph is dispatched in 6.0 seconds, with a top speed of 250kph.

Unique to the Mégane RS 265 Trophy Edition is Sirius Yellow Metallic ID Paint. The Trophy Edition comes only
in this iconic hue, which was first introduced on the previous generation Mégane R26. Another Trophy Edition
exclusive are the gloss black 19” Speedline alloys with red outline, wrapped with Ultra-High Performance
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres. These tyres offer higher levels of grip compared to the standard tyres on
the regular Mégane RS 265 Cup. Its asymmetric design, derived from Formula 1, gives balanced dynamic
performance with great responsiveness, particularly on cornering, precise steering and a high level of safety
on wet surfaces. This winning combination was the same specification used to set the world record in 2011.
All this is topped off with a serial numbered plaque to mark this special edition.

The same proven equipment used for the world record car has also made its way into the Mégane RS 265
Trophy Edition. The sublime Cup Chassis, Mechanical Limited Slip Differential, Brembo Brakes, and Perfohub
(Independent Steering Axis Front Suspension set up to eliminate torque steer) are all standard.

Inside, supportive Recaro seats are complemented by yellow ascents throughout the cabin. The RS monitor
relays lap times and real time vehicle performance parameters to the driver via the centrally mounted display.
