Good Luck To Powerman Participants!

I will not be joining Powerman 2012. Last year, i did a relay for wifey's debut to "multisports". She did the "run" and i did the "bike". However, i did all three discipline to accompany wifey. The report is here. Sadly, the photos are all missing. I will re-upload them all again.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Powerman since the inception in 2001. What started off as a humble duathlon race has earned the place in many amateur and professional duathlete's heart as the "must do" race for the end of the year. For the past few years, the Powerman race has been held in the idlic town of Lumut where the title sponsor, Malakoff has a powerplant running nearby.
This year's race would had been special for me if i took part, as it falls on my birthday. The last i had a "birthday race" was a triathlon in Lake Titiwangsa in 2005! I still keep the race T-shirt. :)

For this weekend, I hope and wish that all of you Powerman (and women) will have a safe and good race! 

Remember that i will be there in Spirit!

The reason that i am missing this was that when the race registration was coming to a close, i was at a junction in my career to either move forward or stay behind. I made the wiser choice and being new to a company, i thought it will be best not to take too many off-days while still in probation. More so, i already (had) planned for Kinabalu Climbathon in late October.

Little did i know, things changes within two months and i will be venturing into a new assignment (i.e. career) again in a month's time - in a totally different industry. I am really a generalist very much like the sports i do! Hampalang (everything) also sapu!
