Unbelieavable.
The Xterra race which was brought to our shore last year was cancelled this year.
I attribute this to the incompetency of the current organising team that was arrogant to think they could do without the very same people that made it happen last year.
Well, having a reputation (as bad paymaster) did not help.
I felt so sorry for the paid participants. The amount of training and how they looked forward to this.

ReplyDeleteVery dissappointing. As this was gonna be my first ever triathlon and much training put in for it. Was just funny how the motivation died down the very next day. They have such a person as their chairman and he is known to make things happen in the corporate world, i guess not this time.

ReplyDeleteJonathan - i am so sorry to hear that. I know a couple of people that has been training and looking forward to a dirty weekend only to find out that it is cancelled. The chairman might be a hero in the corporate world, but he is really nothing when it comes to organising things like this where one has to get down and dirty.
Why la this shit always happen in malaysia. Why cant just let the old team get on with it? Smart a$$ corporate people think he can make bucket loads of cash in this industry issit? Stupid Farking organiser!
